As you can see, another massively wide boar with a huge abundance of bone and foot size. His sire sold for $70,000.00 at the 2008 Summer Type conference. His mother was the 2nd high selling York at the 2007 Extravanganza. His littermate sister (5-13) was Champion York and Reserve Grand overall at Hendricks County this year. (See her picture on our “winners” page). This boar grew big and wide without the need for special feed mixtures or the need for Paylean. In early July, he weighed 305 pounds and had an 11.8” loin eye. This boar is moderate in frame size and excels in base width. He is perfect through his ham/loin junction and has a top that will impress you as much as his base width. From one of the hottest breeders in the industry comes POW R Squared. Rick bred his herd boar to his littermate sisters in an effort to gain consistent genetics that will breed on. Chuck Olsen has one, Prairie State has one, Travis Platt has one, and I have one. These boars are extremely sound, big framed and good growers. POW R Squared is insanely tall at the point of the shoulder, as level through his top line as you can get, is huge bladed and packs a tremendous forearm. The extension through his head and neck is unparalleled. POW R Squared has eye appealing muscle, and as you can see in the photo’s, is as square as you can make one.
