The Grizz’s first litter produced one of the deepest litters I’ve seen. The gilts in this litter, all sold privately, exceeded $10,000.00. The boars didn’t do badly either. Randy kept a boar back for himself, and Marek has a littermate to Griswold called Buckeye. The litter was very consistent in their phenotype. All are very deep bodied, big topped and extended in their front third. Griswold has absolutely massive bone with perfect feet and toes. We bought him to add center body and appetite to our herd. Even though Griswold is super big topped and deep sided, his frame stays within his skeleton. He has very good extension off both ends.
